The bearish investment strategy in Caterpillar we published as a Tear Sheet, a ChartBook, and a Guided Tear Sheet earlier this year has not worked out according to my plans and desires, to say the least.
Over the past few weeks, I have worked hard to pull myself out of my emotion-born X-System processes and back into the rational C-System to estimate Caterpillar’s valuation range. (Those of you who don’t understand these terms, please see our Launchpad on Making Better Decisions!)
