Framework member Ra’uf G. asked us to do a session on hedging. As the former risk manager of an $800 million global long-short equity hedge fund who was faced with the task of managing the downside exposure of about $450 million in exposure to oil prices, hedging is a topic that I have literally dreamt about before, so I was happy to share my thoughts.
